The Metropolitan Montreal Basketball Referee Association (MMBRA) is thrilled to extend our congratulations to Mariper Malo, a fellow Quebec official from the COBB association, on her exceptional achievement of being selected to officiate at the Paris 2024 Olympics. This prestigious honor, announced by FIBA, is a testament to her dedication, skill, and excellence in the field of basketball officiating. 

FIBA's announcement of the list of referees for the Paris 2024 Olympics highlights the rigorous selection process and the high standards expected of those chosen to officiate at the world's most prestigious sporting event. MP's inclusion in this elite group underscores her proficiency and the respect she commands within the global basketball community.

MP will join Matt Kallio in representing Canada as 2 of the 30 selected officials. She will also represent 1 out of 7 women officiating the games.

MP's selection to officiate at the Paris 2024 Olympics is not just a personal triumph but a proud moment for all of us Quebec officials. It reflects the strength and quality of officiating talent within our region and serves as a reminder of the heights that can be reached with perseverance and hard work.
