21 MMBRA Officials Participate in CPA's 2026 2-Person & 3-Person Camps

From June 26–28, the Provincial Officiating Committee (CPA) once again brought together officials from across the province for its annual 2-Person and 3-Person Development Camps. Following the success of last year's inaugural joint format, the two camps were held simultaneously for the second consecutive year, providing officials with a collaborative, high-performance learning environment.
A total of 21 officials from the Metropolitan Montreal Basketball Referee Association (MMBRA) participated in this year's camps, continuing the association's strong tradition of professional development and commitment to officiating excellence.

Throughout the weekend, officials participated in classroom sessions, on-court instruction, video analysis, and live game evaluations, receiving valuable feedback from experienced clinicians. The camp continues to serve as an important stepping stone for officials looking to refine their mechanics, improve game management, and prepare for higher levels of competition.
The success of both camps was made possible thanks to the dedication and mentorship of MMBRA supervisors, who generously gave their time to provide feedback, lead debriefs, and support officials on and off the court.
MMBRA would also like to recognize Yannick Payette for his continued leadership and dedication in helping plan and deliver this year's camps. A longtime member of the CPA, Yannick currently serves as the Director of Education for the province while also remaining an active MMBRA referee. His commitment to developing officials continues to have a meaningful impact on the basketball officiating community across Quebec.
