MMBRA Referees Attend Next Level Women's Officials Camp

The Metropolitan Montreal Basketball Referee Association (MMBRA) proudly recognizes two of its dedicated officials, Chanez Saheb and Anita Quintana, who recently attended the 2025 Next Level Women's Officials Camp in Edmonton, Alberta. They were joined by two Montreal-based officials, Laurence and Mileisy. Held from April 25 to 27 at the Saville Community Sports Centre, this prestigious camp is exclusively designed for women officials aiming to enhance their skills and advance in the field of basketball officiating. 

The Next Level Officials Camp offers a comprehensive program that includes expert instruction in 3-person mechanics, videotape analysis, immediate on-court feedback, and engaging classroom session. Participants also benefit from networking opportunities with seasoned experts and fellow officials, fostering a supportive community dedicated to professional growth. 

Chanez and Anita's participation in this camp underscores MMBRA's commitment to supporting the development of its officials and promoting excellence in basketball officiating. Their dedication to continuous learning and improvement not only enhances their personal careers but also contributes to the overall quality of officiating within our association.
