MMBRA Officials at the 2026 CCAA National Championships

The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) National Championships represent the highest level of collegiate basketball in Canada, bringing together the top teams from across the country to compete for a national title.
In 2026, the championships were hosted in two cities
Men’s Championship – March 18–21, 2026
Hosted by Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, BC.
Women’s Championship – March 18–21, 2026
Hosted by Dawson College in Montreal, QC.
Both championships featured top-ranked programs from across Canada competing in a multi-day tournament, culminating in medal-round matchups to determine national champions.

MMBRA was proudly represented by four officials selected to officiate at the national level:

These selections reflect the continued recognition of MMBRA officials on the national stage and their ability to perform at the highest level of collegiate competition in Canada.
🥉 Medal Round Assignments
Several of our officials were entrusted with key assignments during the final stages of the tournament:
Shawn Alleyne officiated the Men’s Bronze Medal Game
Frédérique Lorrain officiated the Women’s Bronze Medal Game
Medal round assignments are reserved for top-performing officials and are a testament to their consistency, game management, and professionalism throughout the championship.
In addition, fellow Quebec official Philippe Dauphinais was selected as crew chief for the Women’s Gold Medal Game, a prestigious assignment that highlights the strength of officiating development within the province.
