CBOC Announces NOCP Course Dates for 26-27 Season

The Metropolitan Montreal Basketball Referees Association (MMBRA) is pleased to announce the official schedule for upcoming National Officials Certification Program (NOCP) courses for the 2026–2027 season. These courses are a key step in the development pathway for basketball officials at all levels, providing structured training, evaluation, and advancement opportunities within the officiating system.


Officials are encouraged to review the course options carefully and register early, as spots are limited and demand is expected to be high across all levels.


NOCP Course Schedule 2026–2027


NOCP 1 – Recreational Referee

  • September 22, 2026

  • October 26, 2026

  • 2 mandatory workshop sessions

  • Cost: $100


NOCP 2 – Community Referee

  • September 21, 2026

  • October 27, 2026

  • 2 mandatory workshop sessions

  • Cost: $150


NOCP 3 – Provincial Referee

  • September 10, 2026

  • January 7, 2027

  • 4 mandatory workshop sessions

  • Cost: $300


NOCP 4 – National Referee

  • September 8, 2026

  • 10 mandatory workshop sessions

  • Cost: $500
